(00:00) Who was Mormon and why is this book named after him? Scripture is a combination of both heavenly and mortal work.
(08:26) The background and overall time period of the Book of Mormon. Lehi leaves Jerusalem around 600 BC and taught that the Messiah would be slain and rise from the dead.
