  2. I am truly grateful for the time you both offer to help others understand His love for us through your podcasts. Your podcasts are worth listening to. I chose to listen today on Valentines Day. Its a day we all know to show Love to others. I am greatful of the Love from my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ that we all have been given and it cannot be taken away. As I make efforts I am becoming more like Him as I am being perfected here on earth- Thank you for that reminder. I look forward to your podcasts . Thank you for sharing!

  3. This podcast is so helpful in my own understanding, and in teaching my Sunday School class! Quick question: You mention that in the Greek, “you will therefore be perfect” is a more accurate translation than “be ye therefore perfect.” The JST says that it ought to be “Ye are therefore commanded to be perfect.” Is this an instance of scripture intentionally being written in such a way that it can have multiple meanings, many or all of which are true? I know that was a thing with a lot of the OT Hebrew texts.

I think this can be seen this way. If we examine how Joseph worked with texts, one thing I have seen is that he has rendered them in different ways, and consistency was not always the objective. This opens our minds to other ways of seeing the texts. Perhaps it is not so much this or that, but rather this and that, as you say.

  4. I thank God everyday for Mike and Bryce. Your willingness to help us teach others and your immeasurable generosity in slides, outlines and Quotes and Notes provide an example to us all to actually walk in THE WAY. I have learned so much from your podcasts. It is hard to put my gratitude into mere words– but Thank You, Thank You Both So Much.
