00:26 – An overview of these chapters.

07:41 – Examples shared by Matthew and Luke illustrate positive ways we can respond when Jesus comes into our lives.

18:20 – Herod is threatened and angered by the birth of Jesus. His reaction invites us to consider ways we can let go of our worldly desires and come unto Christ.

27:18 – Details of the Savior’s birth can also be read as a foreshadowing or type of his future death. Symbolically, we can see Jesus being clothed in glory by his mother as the King of the Earth.

36:31 – What the scriptures teach about the youth of Jesus can be a pattern for our discipleship.

58:12 – Final thoughts on different ways to read the Christmas story.

  1. I would love a list of the scriptures talking about His youth that you went through. I tried to keep up with all the scriptures you were referencing but I think I misted one or two. There were six or seven things you found if I remember correctly. Thank you so much for all your time and work!!!

    1. All of these are in John
      5:19-20
      7:29
      8:26,28,38
      10:15
      12:49

  2. I’ve been anxiously waiting new episodes, but it looks like the new episodes are not showing up on spotify.

  3. For some reason both stitcher and spotify don’t have your latest episodes. They finish at Malachi and don’t show any New Testament episodes.

It should be fixed now. Spotify was giving us some issues. Thanks for your patience!

  4. Can I have a reference to where I can find the JST for Luke 2:7? The “none to give room” words.
