  1. In either this week or last week’s podcast you spoke about not focusing on our calling election be made sure. Why should we not focus on our goal to see the face of the Savior? As I have studied the Doctrine and Covenants this year I have gotten the idea that most everything the Lord reveals is pointing us to the Temple. I used to think the temple was a preparation to bring us into God’s presence in the next life. However, I am seeing that if I want to know the Savior I am going to need to do the things he did in this life and I have a real chance to see his face in this life. I know think the temple is a preparation to see the face of the Savior in this life. Even if we don’t get there in this life shouldn’t we be trying to get there in this life? None of the prophets who saw the Savior in this life were perfect. This idea of preparing to meet Christ in this life is inspiring me to be better.
